Harbinger Network Inc. is currently working with a General Contractor in the Vancouver market looking to fill a role for an Intermediate Project Coordinator. This company has extensive experience in the building of high end office interiors as well as retail tenant improvement projects throughout the Lower Mainland BC area and has been doing so for the last 20+ years. Their focus is superior quality, high-level of communication, and professionalism to deliver to their clients on time and on budget. This General Contractor requires an individual who can see projects through the design and development stage all the way to completion. They are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills who is able to provide a results oriented approach to any project and simplify the process for their clients. Responsibilities:

Ensure that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications and applicable building codes

Plan, organize and manage daily operations

Monitor construction schedules and project progress to ensure scheduling needs are met.

Must have the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings

Ensure safety regulations and measures are being followed and maintained

Must be able to maintain positive relationships with sub trades, architects, clients, etc

Must be able to monitor budget adjustments to ensure clients needs are met.

Main Requirements:

5 years of construction experience in a Coordinator role.

Construction/Engineering related diploma/degree

Contract negotiation/management skills

A strong safety record

Sound technical skills
