Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager in the GTA!

The Project Manager, responsible for the successful completion of the companies projects, from inception to completion.

Sample Projections Include:

Restaurants – Hotels – Commercial Interiors

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.

Prepare initial budgets or tenders, including quantity take offs, preparing tender documents, review and analyze sub-trade pricing.

Monitor site activity for compliance with all plans, specifications and codes

Prepare Progress Reports and present as appropriate at monthly and weekly project meetings; review and confirm progress payments.

Implement health, safety and environmental procedures on site in accordance with company policies to ensure safety of all workers and public.

Provide leadership to the project team.

Troubleshoot problems in an efficient and effective manner while simultaneously updating owners and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years ICI construction experience

Project exposure to hospitality a strong asset

Knowledge of building and safety codes, and workplace safety essentials an asset

Basic computer knowledge (ex. Microsoft Outlook, Word)

Understanding of construction costs and budgets.

Ability to plan and manage to a project schedule.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Analytical thinking with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly

Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
